Between the two articles I think David French made the better point because he brings up the point of the constitutional right to bear arms. He also talks about how reform and restriction is ineffective because the rules for getting a gun don’t help that much towards gun violence. I think if someone wanted to get a gun, even with the current rules and such, they will always find a way to do so. He says that more guns is effective but only with good, competent gun owners. His main point is that guns prevent gun violence.
